Rested & Relaxed

...though almost too much. I think I need a vacation from this vacation. It was so timely that I think we could've easily missed our flight back. Hey, after all, I think I could do pretty well selling hats on the beach to sunburnt tourists.

Here's a photo of me at my friend Alex's wedding. Surrounded by coconut trees, dancing on the beach barefoot, sipping of agave tequila, and feasting on succulent antojitos; a picturesque celebration.

May this past weekend be the beginning of a long & happy life for Alex and Betsy!

Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo

Off for a week to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, for a wedding in the sun.

DCA --> ATL --> MEX --> ZIH

It'll be my fourth time there, twice with my parents as a kid and a third time for a high school senior trip. The latter being, obviously, quite different different from the first two. I imagine that this coming vacation will find itself somewhere in between an outlandish high school reunion of tequila & rum and a gathering of exhausted happy-to-sleep-in over-achiever professionals.

I personally am looking forward to a few days of sailing, sleeping, dancing, and eating... The thought of taquitos al pastor and fresh micheladas has my mind wandering. I'll be completely offline, so I hope to not miss to much!
