HAPI Launch in New York

The Hispanic Alliance for Progress Institute is a new conservative nonprofit organization that will work to help to improve the economic conditions of Hispanics and promote traditional family values. Today was the organization's official launch at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City, with former President George HW Bush as the honored guest.

The 250+ crowd at the was boisterous and enthusiastic for the new organization.
The new organization will model its grass-roots communications along the lines of those of the American Association of Retired Persons, a massive and influential organization that lobbies Congress on behalf of retirees."That's kind of the model we will use for grass-roots organization because we have the numbers and we're going to utilize them," Lujan said.
Thanks to Manuel Lujan and his team for an outstanding event and for a fabulous new organization, targeting a much underserved segment!

At the event, I had the opportunity to meet the ex-President in person, check us out:

Hispanics— the fastest-growing ethnic group in the nation— continues to be a key target for both presidential campaigns. And, from my perspective, the US Hispanic market presents a largely untapped VC/PE investment opportunity of extraordinary proportions.
